El Viajero 2 / Andy's Burger Shack
Back in the old days of Uvita, about a year ago, there was a soda, nay, an institution called "El Viajero". Located on the corner of the main intersection of Uvita.
Stopping there for lunch was a delight. It was like that old TV show that had the theme song that said, "where everyone knows your name". It was just like that. Even us Gringos adopted the Latin American custom of eye contact and greeting everyone.
Well, progress got the better of El Viajero and it closed down. The 4 or 5 gals (all related) that ran the place went off in different directions. Us frequenters of the place grieved. You could get a really good casado for cheap, less than $2.00, and you could get caught up on the latest gossip and enjoy that cool companionship that comes from being in "The Annex" to your home or office.
One of the gals had met a gentleman recently arrived from the States who had decided to make the area his home, by the name of Andy. They decided after some months to open up "El Viajero 2" just across the highway, towards the beach about 75 meters. The rest is history. The casados are back, but there is more. Andy brings his "gringo" touch to Loraina's considerable prowess with the typical plates to make for the instant hit, or "re-hit" as the case may be. Rod here in the office will only eat the fish taco with the addition of avodado. I've tried it, its good, but I'm still a casado man. The pizza and burgers aren't bad either.. oh and then there's that fish burger... well, just go check it out.

I remember a year ago, that the close the doors at 18hours, that why we could not eat there.
