All about sharing and community
Uvita Costa Rica is a quiet, "tranquilo", kind of place that has lots of energy, almost a vibration. There are large numbers of foreigners moving into Uvita at present. This is due to the sheer desirability of the area. Having an online resource where we can all input our experiences and tips with a view to sharing with others, is what this site is all about. Visitors to this site can virtually visit Uvita, perhaps vicariously enjoying its waterfalls, jungles and beaches. Or perhaps the info found in these pages will assist in making plans to visit.
How to participate.
Register, its free. Then you will see links that you don't see before registering. These will allow you to post new articles to the site, as well as respond to and add content to existing articles. The forums would be a good place to get started. There you can post questions or comments and respond to other threads as well.

Hello Everyone,
I am going to start sending out updates on our progress at Radio Pacifico Sur, AM 1480.
As you may of had heard that I am putting together a radio station in the Pacific south zone of Costa Rica. This could very well be your first awareness of the project.
It has been two years in the making. Radio Pacifico Sur will soon be a reality. It started back then with the search for an available frequency. The pictures below is the results of my 2 year effort.
RadioPacSur will be a blend of clasico gringo favorites and a eclectic mixture of latino music. There will be DJ's in both English and Spanish.
There will be news, traffic alerts, community events, and political figures weekly addresses to the public. Our goal is to be community minded.
We are considering programing like,The Famous Wolfman Jack Show, Latino Soap Operas, Spanish and English lessons, infomercials, sermons, and other speciality programming.
I invite all of your feedback on what type of programming you would like to hear.
Our initial coverage is anticipated to be from north of Dominical to the outskirts of Rio. By the end of the year we plan to expand the signal and get all the whole Pacific coast.
Our goal includes during the first year is to be streaming on the internet.
Of course as with any media source, we will be selling commercials, ads, and air time.

Hola cada uno, voy a comenzar a enviar actualizaciones en nuestro
progreso en Radio Pacifico Sur, 1480.
Como usted puede de tenido oído que estoy juntando una estación de
radio en la zona del sur pacífica de Costa Rica. Esto podía muy
manar sea su primer conocimiento del proyecto.
Ha sido dos años en la fabricación. Pacifico de radio Sur pronto
será una realidad. Comenzó detrás entonces con la búsqueda para
una frecuencia disponible. Los cuadros abajo son finalmente el venir
juntos de este esfuerzo.
RadioPacSur será una mezcla de favoritos del gringo del clasico y de
una mezcla ecléctica de la música del latino. Habrá DJ en inglés y
español. Habrá noticias, alarmas del tráfico, acontecimientos de la
comunidad, y figuras políticas direccionamientos del semanario al
público. Nuestra meta es ser comunidad importada. Estamos
considerando el programar como, la demostración famosa de Wolfman
Jack, las óperas del jabón de Latino, las lecciones españolas y
inglesas, los infomercials, los sermones, y la otra programación de
la especialidad. Invito todo su feedback en qué tipo de programarle
quisiera oír. Nuestra cobertura inicial se anticipa para ser del
norte de dominical a las cercanías de Río. Antes de fin de año
planeamos ampliar la señal y conseguir toda la costa pacífica del
conjunto. Nuestra meta incluye durante el primer año es fluir en el
Internet.
