Looking for strong builder / architect referals

Good morning All!!
New to the area, just closed on a view lot in Aug. Now entering into the "R&D" phase of our project. Interested in strong referals for and architect and builder in the surrounding area. Think it best if we deal with local professionals, we'll see how that looks. Dealing with others from San Jose still an option.
Looking to build 3 cabinas initially, main residence then possibly 2 additional cabinas. Everything boils down to education so we may develop a realistic "working budget". Believe an open mind, patience & acceptance for change will help too.
All referals welcomed & greatly appreciated!!
Enjoy your Day!

Hello Neutron7, The question
Hello Neutron7,
The question of an architect/builder is a big'un.
I'm not much at referring builders and architects, but I will pass along a tidbit that I just heard from Ruthie, a client of mine that is going through some interesting situations in her building project here.
Ruthie says: Start with the engineer. Put the onus on him/her to propose the architect and crew that you should use. Have the engineer take responsibility for the project.
Thats a start.
Thanks for posting!
