The Hotel Tucan is under new ownership!
The new owners have been remodeling the hotel since taking over. Each room has a different theme, including the "Indigenous room" (room #5), the "Bob Dylan room" (room #8), and the "Oriental room" (room #6), etc.
Eight rooms have air conditioning, three dorm rooms to accommodate 12 persons, and camping spaces are available, (bring a tent or use one of theirs).
Plop into a hammock or pull up to the bar, enjoy a meal at the in home restaurant, Internet access, laundry facilities, a pool table, bicycle rentals (and other rentals), daily movies, and a communal kitchen are just some of the amenities offered in this family run establishment.
The Hotel Tucan is centrally located just off of the Coastal Highway in Uvita. Walking distance to the Marina Ballena National Marine park, and other services including restaurants, an email cafe, and a pharmacy.
