Sonia Leon is the owner of Uvita Information Center. Born in Colombia, Sonia has lived in Costa Rica, specifically in the area of Uvita, for the last six years.

During this time, she has had the opportunity to gain first-hand experience about the main tourist attractions of the area and to know most hotel owners and operators throughout COSTA BALLENA.

Thanks to her extensive experience, and to the fact that virtually everybody in the area knows her or have heard of her, she decided to venture with her own business, which has become a main reference point for travelers and residents of Uvita and its surroundings.

Sonia has also worked with local communities and cooperation agencies to implement development projects that are nature-friendly.
